What colours are available for Cotons?
Colours for the breed  in the UK are generally white but slight markings are perfectly acceptable for showing.  Puppies will often have darker colours but these mostly fade before maturity.

Show Cotons are usually more accepted by the lack of colour in the coat but  a small amount of faded colour around the face area is ok.

There are rarer pure bred black and white Cotons that keep their colour into adulthood, and the Tri Colour Cotons of black/white and tan that is darker in puppies but fade as they get older still keeping a lighter shade. 
Although these darker colours are natural to the breed, its not accepted in the show ring.
