A diary of our Cotons and puppies
Below are entries from our diary. We try to update this as regularly as possible to give you an insight into the everyday lives of our Cotonborne Cotons.
Lellu puppies at almost 3 weeks - 4th July, 2008We have started the weaning and our little Ellie is now sharing the same space with Lellu's puppies to help with her own socialiasation. They are all sharing the special puppy food we give them twice a day at them moment then sniff each other and have a little play then fall asleep together.
Mums are needing to build up themselves again and so we have a feeding program to get them back to their great condition they had in their coats. Their coats are one of the first things that suffers because the puppies take all the goodness and also fighting for teats within long coat does not make for best styled hair couture : ))
These pics were snatched when they had all settled and I will do some more specific individual pics this weekend. They will be having their first experience of baths and some gentle grooming. I will be starting the regular fortnightly worming and their nails will be trimmed again.
This is the time when it gets very busy for me and messiest for the puppies because when they feed they tend to sit in it or lie in the food bowl..............loverly : )
